Daniels became the Coasters second signing of the summer in June 2016 when he joined from league rivals Harrogate Town. Daniels had recently played against Fylde in the National League North Play-off Semi Finals and had scored an inch perfect free kick when the two sides met in a league fixture the previous November. Daniels is known for being a technically skilled left winger who has bags of natural ability. Although a winger, he was the division’s third top scorer in 2015-16 scoring an impressive 22 goals including a sensational 40 yard striker against Lowestoft Town.
Brendon scored his first goal for the Coasters in the 6-0 win at Altrincham but missed several months after an injury at Alfreton Town, he returned to the side and to scoring ways in the 9-2 destruction of Boston United in November. Daniels will be hoping to cement his starting position on the left wing with competition from Bohan Dixon and James Hardy for his spot.
FYLDE FACT: Daniels linked up with former Crewe youth team mate Caspar Hughes when he joined in June. They had played together until Hughes’ departure in 2012.
